The JT Country Kitchen is a Diamond in the Rough
The desert is full of hidden treasures and in the heart of downtown Joshua Tree kitty-corner of Park Blvd. and 29 Palms Hwy, you’ll find one. The JT Country Kitchen looks like a fixture of time passed. But inside is a bustling diner with big Western greasy spoon energy with a grand slam breakfast and brunch menu.

The food is top-notch. The quality of a high-end brunch spot on PCH. It’s hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. From a standard country breakfast to brunch specials and lunch fare, the food is most definitely something to write home about.

The waitresses are attentive. My coffee cup was never empty, no matter how busy it got in there. Usually, I opt for the Deuces Wild, but something caught my attention on the specials board.

Unique Specials and a Stellar Regular Menu
I’m glad I switched things up because the Good Morning Burger really delivered. It was mouthwatering. Not long after I cracked the yoke. the burger disappeared from my plate. I was shook at how well the chorizo paired with the beef and my taste buds were delighted by the habanero maple aioli. It was so good, it didn’t make sense.

There’s a reason why Anthony Bourdain graces the wall of this little diner in the desert. Not only are the food and service next level, but the jo has a stylish desert charm about it. A carefully curated collection of art that screams desert aesthetics in a tasteful way.

All-in-all if you find yourself passing through the high desert near Joshua Tree National Park, the JT Country Kitchen is a must-stop. Find the full menu below. Follow along for more reviews.
